These simulators are part of ChocoLOCK, the free croissantage site: a colleague forgets to lock their session, you put a fake screen on it, they bring the pastries.

And the real ChocoLOCK
Croissantage, the cybersecurity edition.

A colleague left their session open? ChocoLOCK generates the lock screen to put on it, with the QR code that sends them out for pastries.

Free. Your colleagues lock their PC from the second time on.

Frequently Asked Questions

What the simulators do, and what they do not.

How do these simulators work?+

They are web pages that imitate a system screen and go fullscreen. You install nothing.

How do I launch or exit a screen?+

Click a card. To leave, press Esc or the cross in the top right corner; it fades after a few seconds but stays clickable.

Does this modify my system?+

No. The page writes nothing to your disk and runs no command. Close the tab and it is gone.

What is the purpose of these screens?+

For an office prank, a video shoot, a demo, a panel test, or because the spinning ring of dots makes a nice screensaver.

How is this related to ChocoLOCK?+

ChocoLOCK puts a fake lock screen on the session a colleague forgot. These simulators are the same screens, minus the QR code and the pastries.

Do the screens work offline?+

Yes. Once the page has loaded, everything runs in the browser; you can switch the Wi-Fi off.
